The Town of Woodloch is located approximately 30 miles north of Houston, Texas and 8 Miles southeast of Conroe, Texas.

Woodloch was incorporated in 1974. The city is considered a General Law Municipality, with a Mayor, 5 Aldermen, a Public Works Operator and a City Secretary.
